Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Open Beta Happening This August
We all knew that an open beta for Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII as it was something that Activision announced during the trailer.
Well, now we have more of an idea of exactly when this open beta is going to be taking place. It was the German branch of Game Stop that leaked the news as they announced that the open beta would be taking place in August.
The “leak” is a little weird as it says it is an open beta, yet it says that beta codes will be sent out. If it is an open beta, codes will not be needed!
The beta will take place over three days, just like the past Call Of Duty WWII beta that happened in 2017. I would bet that it will be a Friday to Sunday kind of deal unless something goes wrong and then they will probably extend it.
The open beta is listed as taking place on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but PC is scheduled to get its own open beta in August as well. I have heard that PlayStation may be getting its very own beta (as Activision favor Sony these days) which you would have to assume would not be an “open beta” but be part of a pre order incentive.
With this news being all over the internet, Activision is bound to make an official announcement very soon. You have to wonder what will be included in this open beta. Will it be the standard team Deathmatch or will they let us test out the new Call Of Duty Battle Royale mode?
